Help save my children's lives

Can you imagine seeing your children under continuous targeting and bombing for a month while you are standing miles away? I endured this for 7 months, hopeless, exhausted, and unable to continue. I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart, asking for your help during a time of urgent need.

I am Hanan El laqtta , working in the community development and gender equality. I travelled with my husband on 24th of September 2023 to participate in a fellowship with world learning in Turkey- Istanbul. We expected to spend 15 days in Istanbul then go back home in Gaza. . My three children under 9 years ages are still in Gaza with their old grandparents. They suffered a lot from the war consequences. My home was destroyed over their heads and they were rescued from the rubbles. I hardly contact them one and a half month ago because of the cut of connections and internet. Until now, they suffer from malnutrition because of the sever starvation in Gaza with no food, healthy water & safe home in addition to several psyghological disorders and nightmares.

I tried to call ICRC, Red Crescent, Turkish immigration institutions, and all the international child- based organization to help me evacuate my children out of Gaza but in vain.

I am here appealing for help to raise some money to assist in getting my family out of the Gaza Strip towards Egypt. It costs USD 2500 for each, and 5000 for each of their grandparents and they need extra money for expenses for the cost of living in Egypt. My family consists of 5 members: my father, my mother, and my 3 children.
