Mekong Bistro has always been more than just a restaurant—we are a community center, a place where people come together to celebrate, connect, and support one another. For the past 14 years, we have welcomed friends, families, and neighbors to share meals, build relationships, and create memories. Our space has hosted countless weddings, birthdays, graduation celebrations, and live music shows featuring local artists. We are proud to be the only Cambodian restaurant in Portland, and we cherish the role we play in preserving and sharing our culture.

Now, we are facing a critical challenge. Our building requires urgent upgrades, including the installation of a fire sprinkler system, to remain operational. Without these improvements, Mekong Bistro will be forced to close its doors, leaving our community without a vital gathering place and a unique cultural resource. The estimated cost of these upgrades is significant, and we cannot do it alone.
