Help Save Mangos Caribbean Cookhouse
Due to the devastating effects of Covid-19 on the hospitality industry, Mangos Caribbean Cookhouse is temporarily closed and needs help right now from the community they have so lovingly served.
Mangos has been a culinary staple in Huntsville, Alabama for many years. Serving up delicious Caribbean cuisine as well as a full menu of vegan and vegetarian dishes, Mangos has brought diversity to the culinary landscape in Huntsville.
Our friends at Mangos have stretched out their hands to serve the community time and time again by feeding the homeless and holding community block parties. This year they made a tremendous impact when they served over 2000 free meals to senior citizens at the beginning of the pandemic!
Apart from all the good that they do, this year they had the distinct honor of being awarded Culinary Business of the Year by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber.
As we all know, COVID-19 has dealt a harsh blow to small businesses. Black-owned businesses have been hit especially hard, closing twice as fast as others. Let’s not sit by and watch another black-owned business and pillar in our community close it’s doors!
