On July 26, 2018 Gentry Marie was in an accident involving a stick going into her eye. It was a severe injury. She had to be transported by helicopter to children’s hospital in New Orleans to save her eye. On August 9, 2018 she will have the second surgery in this process (Retina Surgery) in Baton Rouge. She will come home to be able to heal for three months and be sent to either Houston, Texas or Chicago, Illinois for a corneal transplant. This procedure isn’t covered by her health insurance. The money collected will be used to cover expenses of the surgery and family expenses during the stay in Houston or Chicago. We are believing for full restoration of Gentry’s eye according to God’s promises! Following the corneal transplant she will need other surgeries to restore her vision. No gift is too big or small! Also, your prayers are just as valuable!
