Help Sarah's family on her cancer journey

I never imagined I’d be writing this. Reaching out for help feels incredibly vulnerable, but I’m learning that strength can be found in accepting support from others.

Recently, on the 11th of oct 2024 i suffered a seizure leading to an emergency brain surgery to remove a 2cm brain tumour and along with that —a diagnosis of lung cancer stage 3 with the findings of a 3mm node.. that came just as I was embarking on a new journey of motherhood and still on maternity leave.. now I have been left unable to return to work or drive for atlest 6 months while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy on my brain and lungs.

Now, as I face chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatments weekly for the next 4 months, balancing my health and returning to work has become even more complex but more bills in the form of extra childcare, hospital bills, medication transport to and from hospital are already taking a toll ...i am asking for help to cover medical expenses and support myself and my family during this time so I can continue to build the future I’m working so hard for.
