Sara's cancer has progressed and Drs have stopped treatment as it's no longer working. At this time she has exhausted all her options. Her Dr is reaching out to UC Davis and UC San Francisco to see if there is any clinical trials but time is not on her side. Her last scan showed that it had more than doubled or tripled. It is continuing to spread faster than imaginable or countable. New tumors that weren't there last scan are larger than some of the ones that were and they are burning extremely hot in activity. There are more in the liver and lungs than before and also now involve the spleen and pancreas as well as several others throughout her neck, chest, and abdomen. It's unreal how much it has spread these last couple months. We're not sure exactly how long she has left but it's not long. Dr. didn't say exactly how long but at the rate it's spreading a few weeks to a few months at best. It's when her organs start shutting down. Her liver has at least 5 or more tumors in it alone. Also her lungs have multiple, neck, chest cavity, spleen, pancreas, left kidney and bowel and several lymph nodes. We are trying to raise money to help with expenses and her personal needs and care so she can rest as comfortable as she can at home with her family and loved ones.
