Help Sandra Hacker beat cancer!

Sandra has beat breast cancer previously but it has metastasized to the bone. She is a 46 year old mother of 4 as well as a grandmother to 1 year old Mason. She is a daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt & friend. Sandra's goal is to make it to Germany for treatment soon. Please help support Sandra by funding her treatment plan. She was a victor once. Let's get our prayer warriors together to beat this once again! Thank you for your time and consideration.
With Love,
Sandra's Family

Helping Sandy Beat Breast Cancer
Only four months after our oldest daughter’s wedding,
my wife found a lump in her breast that started a chain of events
that shook our world. Sandy is 44, my devoted wife, and mother to
our 4 children. She is a stay-at-home mom that homeschools our three
younger children (ages 11, 9, and 7), and we are expecting our first
grandchild in March ’16.
When Sandy went in for her mammogram, they saw the lump area
that had, in a previous mammogram, been brushed off as “dense breast
tissue”, but this time they saw other areas that looked suspicious.
Biopsies of two areas came back as cancer, the lump being
invasive cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy and due to the size of the mass and over a dozen lymph nodes being cancerous, they staged it as Stage 3C breast cancer. Genetic testing found it positive for a gene mutation, CHEK2 (a more recently found gene mutation linked to an increased risk for breast cancer – yes, women, PLEASE get tested for more than just the BRCA genes!) This was a shock as the only history of breast cancer was a great aunt and her mother’s cousin.
Unfortunately, chemo and radiation do not give her better statistics
for her survivability than not doing chemo/radiation. So, Sandy has felt led to go for a more natural path and for quality of life by being treated at an Arizona cancer clinic that focuses on natural treatments but adds in low-dose chemo only if it is beneficial. These treatments need to be paid upfront and insurance isn’t likely to cover the costs since the treatments aren’t traditional.
Throughout this, God has given Sandy peace and the strength to stay strong and positive. Please pray for her, and if you are able, please consider a financial donation to help with the medical costs, lodging and travel for her medical treatments.
From the younger kids:
We’re gonna have a lemonade stand in Arizona to raise
money for Mama to buy a juicer! Please help her too!
From the oldest daughter and soon to be little mama:
My Mom is one of the strongest women I know. I have
never met someone who has stayed as positive as she has
thru this all. I’m so proud to be able to call her Mom.
I love you so much Mama! xoxo
