Dear family, friends, Classmates and Private Donors.

As many of you know, my mother was from Jamaica and i still have family that lives in St Elizabeth, Jamaica. The community where my family live was just hit by Hurricane Melissa — one of the strongest storms to hit the island in decades. Homes have been destroyed, families displaced, and basic services are disrupted. Many of my family lost their homes and roofs and is in desperate need. I’m advocating for them because they are not able too.

I’m organizing a donation drive to help my family get immediate relief (food, water, person hygiene items, clothing and other needed items and support in the recovery phase.
