My name is Anna, and I am a friend of the Sandoval family. Two weeks ago, Roxana went to court for a hearing for her asylum case. The court gave her a follow-up court date for 2027. However, before she could leave the courthouse, she was detained by ICE.

Roxana has an open asylum case, a future court date, and no criminal record. There is no reason for ICE to detain her. In order to have her released, we need to pay a lawyer who can file a habeas corpus petition on her behalf, so that a judge can order ICE to release her. The total cost will be $6,000, and it must be paid up front in order for her petition to be filed.
