We the friends of Rosanna Ferrera, would like to share her story with you. As an artist and Waldorf teacher, a natural foods chef and a wellness coach, much of Rosanna’s life has been a gift to others.

Since her initial Stage 4 diagnosis four years ago, Rosanna has been actively and brilliantly engaged in “surviving" breast cancer. She made the decision early on to pursue an integrative approach to treatment that has treated the cancer using a variety of protocols grounded in the field of immunotherapy. Her physician Dr. Ben Johnson was a pioneer, focused on activating the neuro-immune system to heal the body. Using this approach, Rosanna has been able to sustain herself and her quality of life, while still engaging in daily regimens, supported by periodic clinic visits to adjust the course of her treatment.


Unfortunately, there has been an abrupt turn of events, as Dr. Johnson passed away suddenly. Not only was the good doctor a close friend and  guiding light for Rosanna and many others; he was also a significant benefactor for Rosanna’s healthcare expenses. Because of this loss, her situation has grown more precarious as her costs of care have increased dramatically.

While Rosanna has taken steps to partner with new doctors who can help her pursue the best and most cost-effective courses of treatment, the constant struggle has drained her of funds and left her deeply in debt. She continues to work to pay for her medical and living expenses… but there’s only so much one person, without wealthy benefactors, can do.
