Support Rockin Robin: A Senior's Plea for Safety

Hi,
My name is Robin Guida-Reese, but most of you know me as Rockin Robin. Let me just begin by saying that for 3 1/2 years, I was renting a room from my good friend of 30 years, Kim. She charged me $350 a month. We got along well and were both perfectly happy with the arrangement. Then her friend came over one night and told Kim that she was paying $900 a month and had to share the bathroom with 3 other tenants. THAT NIGHT she told me she wanted me out. When I replied that since I was a senior and disabled, I had 60 days to find another rental. I saw the rage in her eyes as she grabbed me and threw me into the wall as she screamed, "You'll be out tonight!" I had 3 friends with vans, and they came over and moved the big stuff into 2 storages that I had rented. The next day, when I returned for the rest of my stuff, everything I had left was on the front porch in the rain. Food from the freezer/refrigerator was thrown on top of my clothes, and it was raining. I stuffed as much as would fit in my Honda Fit. Not much room in that little car. And I have been living in my car ever since. It's been probably 4 months now. And now it's the 25th of the month, and I get no money till the 1st. My tags expired on the 20th. If I renewed them on time, it would have cost $398. And my headlight went out 3 nights ago, so I'm not comfortable driving anywhere. Oh, and the headlight is $198. Please help me be able to drive without worrying about being pulled over! I'm 69 years old, and my whole life has been full of challenges. I thought that this was the age where life is relaxed and meant to enjoy living without the stress and worry! I'm getting too old to deal with all of these problems. I'm beginning to despise money!
My tags on my car expired on the 20th. It will cost me $398 plus whatever penalty/late charge the DMV will charge, which depends on how long it will take to get the money to them. Then yesterday, my headlight went out. Add another $200.
When it rains, it pours. That's what my sweet mother always said. (I miss you, Mama!)
Also, I need to change my oil, and she could use a tune-up. Haven't tuned her up since I bought her almost 3 years ago.
Anything anyone can spare adds up fast, and I appreciate it so much.
It's so hard for me to ask anyone for help, but here I am asking for anything that anyone can spare for a 69-year-old disabled homeless woman that just wants to be able to drive without having to worry about getting pulled over.
Thank you for your donations to help me get out of this predicament I'm in. I JUST WANT TO BE LEGAL! Please share my story so more folks can see this! I appreciate every one of you!
Sincerely,
Rockin Robin
And I'm pretty sure I need tires, but I can't afford to look.
