Please help a black artist secure their lease! UARTS STUDENT

Hi everyone! this is a BIG edit to the original GoFundMe, but still the same situation, only a tad bit worse. lol.

As of June 7, my university (the University of the Arts) has officially closed its doors on the community abruptly. I am a rising senior who was set to earn my degree next May of 2025. I have been living in emergency housing ON CAMPUS as of May 22. The only "family" I have left is my significant other. I am permitted to stay until August 10. However, I can sign a lease somewhere near the Temple campus, and I am asking again for mutual aid to afford the lease. The amount needed to sign the lease is $4,500 for both my partner and me. I'm the only one currently working and we are working on sustaining stable income on both ends. The goal amount has changed and increased, only since we need this certain amount for the lease, plus for supplies for my cat Luna who will also be moving in with us. All other funds will also be going to my phone bill, which has cut off my phone as I am writing this, and need $600 as soon as possible.

Stable housing is my biggest priority right now aside from trying to figure out how I'm going to afford tuition at another institution. It is a very, very, VERY messy situation that only seems to be getting worse, and I can't keep doing this alone. It is mentally taxing and draining, and my physical health has also been rapidly declining throughout this time. Handling all of this by myself is something I don't think I can afford anymore, and this is entirely too much for one person to even bear. I just want to be in a stable place with my cat. That is all I have ever wanted lately.

If any other extra donations are offered to afford tuition (again, no other colleges have been able to offer what I need, and are giving me a bit of a hard time proving that I am now an independent student) I may have to sacrifice my education to ensure I can live comfortably. Its very sad given that I am right there and almost finished with just one more year, but that's the higher education system for you.

Even if you cannot donate, sharing and providing kind words still mean a lot. Please share if you can and share any resources that you may have. This possibility of a lease has been the only slither of hope that I've gotten throughout all of this, and I desperately need a place to live and to house Luna.
