Help Replace our HVAC for Healthy, Livable Air

Hi everyone,

My wife and I are reaching out during a very difficult and unexpected moment. We’re first-time homeowners and have proudly lived in our home for the past 4 years. As anyone who’s owned a home knows, the journey comes with both joy and surprises—but we never expected something like this.

Last week, right in the middle of our anniversary, our HVAC system completely failed. What we thought might be a simple repair turned into a major shock: after an inspection by A.J. Perri, we were told the entire system must be replaced due to severe mold, corrosion, and rust throughout the unit.

Even more upsetting, the technician informed us that the previous homeowners appeared to be aware of the problem but chose not to address it. This was never disclosed to us during the home-buying process. We feel blindsided and frankly heartbroken that something so important to our home and health was hidden from us.

As a young couple trying to build a life together, this $15,000+ bill is a financial burden we just weren't prepared for. We’ve explored all options, but we’re facing this unexpected cost head-on and humbly asking for help from friends, family, and kind-hearted people.
