Help relieve medical bills for Maddie

Hi to all of Maddie’s loved ones! If you are reading this, you have been lucky enough to know and have Maddie and the Grimes’ family in your life. To know Maddie is to love her.

If you don’t know her, Madison is a beautiful, 11 year old girl who brings joy to everyone she meets! She has the biggest heart and loves so deeply! Her hugs are unmatched and she always knows exactly who needs one! She considers everyone she meets a friend, and spreads kindness everywhere she goes! She truly loves with all of her heart. Unfortunately, Madison was born with multiple heart defects and a very broken little heart. Despite her many heart complications, Maddie had overcome so many milestones and keeps a smile on her face. Madison is preparing for her 5th open heart surgery on January 11, 2024. It will be a very big surgery for her little body, but they are hoping to make the most of the heart she was born with and give her more time to keep living this life she loves so much! She and her family have fought hard for her life, and a fight that continues and will continue, a fight that is always worth it! She is the bright light in her family, and so deeply loved by her parents and three siblings. They have seen her endure more than any parent can imagine in her past four heart surgeries, but she is their walking miracle, and they know God has big plans for her life!

Madison has a necessary dental surgery coming up, which she needs in order to have her heart surgery. If she does not have the surgery, there is major risk of infection in her heart. They also need to remove the teeth with cavities and fillings as the fillings have been grounded down too low and the infection risk to her heart is too high. Because of Maddie’s heart, she has to have the surgery requires a Cardiac Anesthesiologist. Unfortunately, their dental insurance does not participate with the hospital so it will be an all out-of-pocket expense. I cannot even imagine what the dental bill will be and if we can help relieve some of that stress and burden for the family, they would be more than grateful and appreciative. Bills are not something anyone should have to deal with while you’re living in the hospital with your daughter, raising 3 other children, working 60+ hours a week, and taking care of a homestead with 30 animals.

The Grimes’ family are hard-working, loyal, and full of love and light. They give all they can to others and are the most genuine couple. I know Victor and Christina will greatly appreciate anything that you are able to contribute. Thank you for being a support for Madison and her family. If she could, she would be giving you the biggest hug and smile.
