Hi everyone,

Sharing this for support on behalf of our impacted families and others in the community post hurricane Melissa!

My name is Rawda, and my husband Sam’s family in St. Elizabeth and Mandeville, Jamaica has been devastated by Hurricane Melissa. Many of them have lost their homes, and we’re still waiting to hear from some of our loved ones. Our hearts are so heavy right now.

To coordinate and support efforts, Sam is packing up all his tools and whatever we can spare to fly down and help his family — and anyone else in the community who needs support. He will be going with my brother in law and nephew to help. The destruction is heartbreaking, and so many families are starting over with almost nothing.

We don’t usually ask for help, but this time we truly need it. Anything you can give — no matter the amount — will go directly toward fixing roofs, rebuilding homes, and bringing comfort to families who’ve lost so much.

We’ll make sure to share updates and photos so you can see how your kindness is making a difference.
