The Elijah Missionary Baptist Church was destroyed in a devastating fire. The historic building in the Albany South End was built by German immigrants as Our Lady Help of Christian's Catholic Church in the 1880s, and has been a center of worship and community for over 140 years.

Bishop Avery Comithier is a pillar of Albany. He is a chaplain in the Albany Police Department and the leader of Pastors on Patrol, among many other ministries. Let's help the bishop build a new church to continue his selfless ministry to the community.
