Cancer Treatment for Iggy Pop, the Cat

Hello! This fundraiser has established by Jason and Justin Wever, on behalf of our mom, Marcia Wever, to benefit our little furry brother, Iggy Pop. Iggy has been with us for about 12 years and has become a major part of our family and a funny-looking icon in our household.

Beginning in early March, we noticed a severe abnormality in his eye and that he was not acting like his usual, active, and cuddly self. After much worrying and numerous veterinary visits, we found out that he has an extremely rare presentation of lymphoma, despite being in excellent overall health. Luckily, the veterinarians who diagnosed him believe that he has a good chance of making a significant recovery with treatment, perhaps extending his life considerably. Iggy is a very dear part of our family, particularly to my mom, and we are not ready to give up on him just yet! Unfortunately, the treatment is expensive, which is where this fundraiser comes in!

We're trying to raise money to offset the considerable costs of diagnosis and treatment for our little guy and to help my parents have less stress and reluctance about it. They have already spent over $3,000 on diagnosis, and the veterinarians estimate that chemotherapy will cost an additional $3,000. We hope that you can help!
