Help Quasim Access Vital Medical Equipment
Donation protected
My name is Quasim, and I’m reaching out for your support to help me access life-changing medical equipment that will allow me to do physical therapy from home.
In 2012, at just 19 years old, I was shot in my spine at the T7 level while trying to help someone in a dangerous situation. The bullet, which remains lodged in my spine, changed my life forever. I survived, but I’ve been paralyzed since that day. My daughter was born just 10 days after my injury, and while I am grateful for the blessing of my life, the road has been challenging.
Over the years, I’ve been unable to access the physical therapy I need to improve my mobility and quality of life. Without regular therapy, I haven’t been able to work on regaining any physical strength. However, I believe that with the right medical equipment at home, I can take my recovery into my own hands and make progress every single day.
I’m asking for your support to help me raise between $10,000 - $15,000 to purchase the following equipment:
• A motorized bike designed for paraplegics to help with leg movement and muscle stimulation.
• A standing frame to help me practice standing, which is essential for improving circulation and overall health.
• Leg braces to assist with mobility and support.
• A wheelchair ramp or lift for the front of my home to improve accessibility.
With this equipment, I can perform daily physical therapy exercises on my own, regain strength, and take steps toward a better future. Your support will not only provide me with the tools I need to live more independently but also offer hope that I can continue to improve physically.
I appreciate any amount you can give and thank you for being part of my journey. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign with others would mean the world to me.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
