My name is David T. Anderson, and I am raising funds because a devastating fire completely destroyed my home. The fire caused a full collapse in parts of the building, and residents have been told we cannot return inside at all. At this point, I have truly lost everything.

I am a Program Director and social worker who has dedicated my career to supporting individuals facing homelessness, mental health challenges, and substance use struggles. I am used to being the person who helps others rebuild their lives but in this moment, I am the one who needs help.

I am incredibly grateful to be alive, and that my my mother, sister and my dog, Jaxx, are safe. But this disaster has left me with absolutely nothing: no clothing, no furniture, no documents, no personal items, and no home to return to. Emergency services have supported me with immediate needs, but the road ahead is overwhelming.

I am raising funds to help me secure temporary housing, replace essential items, rebuild my home life from scratch, and navigate this unexpected displacement. Any amount of support big or small will make a real impact during this heartbreaking time.
