Help pickles with medical expenses

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers, I never thought I’d be in a position to ask for help like this, but I’m reaching out because I’m in a desperate situation and could use your support. As many of you know, I’m a single mom to two amazing boys, and we’ve been struggling to make ends meet. Last Thursday, our lives took an unexpected and heartbreaking turn. While my son was playing with our beloved dog, Pickles, his hip popped out of its socket. I had to use every bit of my savings to get him to the vet for an urgent examination. They put Pickles in a sling and advised me to keep him calm over the weekend, with plans to reassess on Monday. Yesterday, I received devastating news. Pickles' hip isn’t healing as hoped, and now we’re faced with two very difficult options: a medical procedure that will cost over $4,000 or the heartbreaking possibility of amputation which would be roughly $1,500. Pickles is only two years old, and he means the world to my boys and me. He’s especially significant to my oldest son, who has Emotional Regulation disorders. Pickles is more than a pet; he’s his emotional support, providing comfort and stability during challenging times. I’m reaching out today to ask for any help you can provide. I’ve already exhausted my savings for the initial exam, which cost over $1,200, and I’m at a loss for how to cover the additional expenses.
