Help pave Omar's road to recovery

For those of you who know Omar well, I don't need to say a word! In any case, I will say a few things. Omar Ismail is truly an amazing and unique individual. He is by far, one of the hardest working individuals I know. He applies his "never give up" attitude to all facets of his life. His creativity and focus drive him to achieve great things, and from him, I've learned not to question whether something is actually possible.

So when Omar told me that he is dealing with cancer (now diagnosed as a very rare kind of kidney cancer, stage 4), I can honestly say that I was not terribly concerned. Knowing the strength and conviction of Omar's spirit, coupled with his intellect and curiosity, my main thought was, I wonder what crazy things Omar will do to get through this and be the miracle we know he is!

Imagine now you are self-employed (with no paid sick leave), you have a little baby on the way and you are the main support for a wife who is in school. Then you are told you have stage 4 cancer. Everyday you are unable to work because of the many appointments or you just don't feel well enough, you don't get paid. What do you do? This is where we come in folks, anything you can do will be a huge contribution!
