Help Support Paul Kutz's Family
Don protégé
Hamilton Building Supply is fundraising for our long tenured associate, Paul Kutz, who is being forced to retire early and care for his sick Wife. Paul has worked at Hamilton for over 35 years as one of our most reliable flatbed, boom truck and forklift drivers, logging over a million miles on the road. During Paul’s tenure, he’s made thousands of deliveries for our contractor and homeowner customers and has truly been a face of the organization.
Due to Paul’s Wife’s health complications, health insurance companies won’t support her stay in a nursing home, which means Paul has retire from work much sooner than anticipated to care for her daily. In addition to that, Paul has to find new housing quickly for his family because their current apartment isn’t handicap accessible. Unfortunately, he is not quite eligible for social security benefits, so he can’t claim those either. These very unfortunate compounding factors of uncooperative health insurance and the cost of finding suitable housing, have been extremely stressful for Paul and his family financially.
When many associates enter into retirement, it is the start of an exciting new life chapter, whereas for Paul, retirement has caused much stress and financial hardship. Paul has always had the right attitude and mentality of being the first one in the door in the morning and always the last to leave in the evening. Paul rarely called out as he would show up daily, no questions asked; along with his team-first attitude. To say we’re going to miss Paul’s tenacious commitment to our company and our customers, is an understatement.
Because of Paul’s lifelong commitment to Hamilton Building Supply and all of the customers that he has served, we'd like to extend this fundraising gesture to him and his family to assist with their financial burden in the next stage of their lives.
