Help Overcome Uterine Fibroids: Support Needed

I have been dealing with health issues for the past 4ish years but did not receive a clear diagnosis until this past summer. I found out I have uterine fibroids that have grown increasingly troublesome. I experience intense pain, bleeding that hasn’t stopped since July, anemia (and all the joys that come from that), and fatigue. I’ve tried to live with symptoms, but they’ve only gotten worse with time, and it makes working, socializing, and just living hard. Sadly, it's not just physical; my mental health is deteriorating because of these fibroids too.

I need to take them out but the cost, even with decent insurance, is going to break me. I hate to ask for it; I’ve always had trouble advocating for myself, but I need help. I cannot keep living like this, feeling trapped and tortured by my own body, but I also can’t afford the surgery on my own. I work as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant, and while that lends me decent insurance, my pay isn’t a living wage to begin with.
