Our family is going through a very difficult time, and we are reaching out with hope for support.

I recently welcomed our newborn baby, born on 24 February 2026 by C-section. This should have been a joyful and peaceful time for us, but life changed suddenly when my husband became seriously unwell. He was admitted to hospital on 9 March with a brain and spine infection that caused inflammation and weakness in his body.

During his hospital stay, his condition became very critical. He was in a coma and on a ventilator for one week. It was a very frightening time for our family, not knowing what would happen next. Due to the brain infection and inflammation, he also experienced seizures.

After a long and stressful time in hospital, he was finally discharged on 24 April.

Right now, his mobility is only around 40%. He cannot walk independently and needs support for daily activities. His recovery will take time, and he requires regular physiotherapy to regain his strength and independence.

Because of his condition and seizures, doctors have advised that he cannot drive his personal vehicle for at least 6 months. He was working as a truck driver before, but he will not be able to return to driving work for at least 12 months. This has created a significant financial impact on our family.

At the same time, I am caring for our newborn baby and our older child who attends school. Managing everything alone—newborn care, home responsibilities, emotional stress, and my husband’s health—has become very overwhelming.

We are also facing financial pressure. My husband’s physiotherapy sessions are essential for his recovery, and we are paying privately for his treatment. The cost of ongoing care, along with daily living expenses, is becoming very difficult for us to manage.

We are asking for support to help with:
