Our family has been walking through a very emotional time since Jay’s passing. There have been many moving parts and moments of confusion surrounding the arrangements, and it has been difficult for everyone involved.

When we first started this GoFundMe, our hope was to have a private autopsy done so that we could better understand his passing and bring peace to our hearts. However, the process moved more quickly than we expected, and we were unable to take that step in time.

At this point, our focus has shifted toward creating something beautiful and healing — a small, intimate celebration of Jay’s life. We want to honor the love, laughter, and memories he left with us and bring family and friends together in unity and peace.
