Oliver update
2/17/2026
Olly saw the vet today to assess his foot. He is now scheduled for an amputation this Friday morning, February 20. The vet gave me an estimate of $800 for the procedure.
Thank you to everyone who has shared Oliver’s story, and especially to those who have donated. Every little bit truly helps. If you are able, please keep sharing his GoFundMe.
Thank you so much.

Oliver is my beloved cat, and he means the world to me. Recently, he got his leg caught in a trap, and it has been heartbreaking to watch him suffer. The injury is severe, and the vet has told me that the only way to give Oliver a chance at a happy, pain-free life is to amputate his foot. This news has been devastating, but I am determined to do everything I can to help him heal and thrive.
The funds raised will go directly toward paying for Oliver’s surgery and the care he’ll need afterward. The cost of the procedure and follow-up visits is more than I can manage on my own, but I know that with the support of friends, family, and kind strangers, we can give Oliver the second chance he deserves. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in his recovery and quality of life.
I love my cat and want the best for him. It’s tragic that he has had to suffer, but I am hopeful that with your help, Oliver can live a long, happy life. Thank you so much for reading our story and considering a donation to help Oliver get the surgery he needs.
