Help Ofee Beat Cancer!

My name is Nathan Limas and I'm writing on behalf on my mom, Ms. Ofee Limas who was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer in November of 2021.

 

On November 5th, Ofee received devastating news, she was told she has cancer. To make matters worse, she was told that her cancer was in Stage IV and was possibly in other locations throughout her body. Since her diagnosis, Ofee has gone through various tests and procedures to have a clearer picture of how far along she is in her fight. Unfortunately, this is something that is not easily defeated and we are looking at possibly facing more challenges down the road as we look at other areas where it may have spread to. After numerous examinations, it seems that the cancer may have begun to spread to her throat and other unknown areas that may have not been discovered yet. With this comes even more examinations and procedures to obtain samples from biopsies and such which have begun to prohibit her ability to get through daily tasks and thus have kept her from continuing to work.

 

Because of this, we are asking for your help. I know that $10k is a massive target to reach and we are trying to cover as many bills from hospital stays and office visits as possible, but anything will help and we hope to have our mom here with us for many more years. We need her, her students need her, she has been through so much in life and it hurts us so much to see her struggle and in pain.

 

As a teacher and single mother, she wishes so badly to continue enriching the lives of her students as she's done for 45+ yrs and continue to see them grow older and have lives of their own, watch her own kids grow older and have lives of their own, and continue being a positive force for all.
