I’m Nikki — a disabled U.S. Army veteran. I served in Afghanistan and came home with PTSD and MST (military sexual trauma). Like so many veterans, I worked to rebuild my life, and I set out to buy my first home as a single woman — a home I could finally call my own.

That home turned into another battlefield.

This wasn’t an accident — it was a calculated scheme carried out by people who thought I wouldn’t push back.

I’m Nikki, a veteran and homeowner in Georgia. I was deceived during the purchase of my home through a VA-backed loan. The fraud involved:

• A realtor who withheld critical information, hired her own inspector, and pressured me to close

• A broker and closing attorney who processed dual contracts without my knowledge

• A mortgage company that allowed the loan to close during an active dispute

The house I was sold is unsafe — with mold, electrical hazards, structural damage, and wildlife intrusion — all of it hidden or ignored.

I’ve filed complaints with HUD, CFPB, the Georgia Real Estate Commission, and other agencies. But without legal representation, this case won’t move forward the way it should.
