Hi, my name is Nicole, and I am raising funds for my household as we work through an incredibly difficult season and fight to keep a roof over our heads.

Over the past year, our family suffered the heartbreaking loss of both of our grandparents just six months apart. Covering their sudden final arrangements and urgent expenses completely drained our resources. Around the same time, severe health challenges made it impossible for me to continue working. Between processing deep grief, managing household responsibilities, and losing my income, we fell behind on housing costs.

We have explored every available community resource, including local social services and emergency rental programs, but funding is unavailable or exhausted right now. While I temporarily receive basic public assistance and am waiting on pending disability benefits (SSI/SSDI), our monthly income remains severely limited and creates an ongoing struggle while we wait for long-term stability.

We currently need immediate help covering our past-due housing balance, as well as support to help us stay caught up on upcoming rent while disability claims are being processed.
