Help NHS Seniors with Prom due to ticket shortage

We are trying to raise money for the Seniors at Navarre High School without prom tickets due to the fact that the school sponsored prom scheduled theirs at a venue that can only accommodate 500 students. There are over 1,000 Juniors and Seniors together and that doesn’t include dates who might go to a different school. This has caused quite a large amount of Seniors who have already purchased gowns/rented tuxedos and made plans to go to prom left with no other option to make that Prom Memory they have looked forward to for quite awhile. I created a FB group as soon as I heard about this last week to get the ball rolling on making something happen for these students. We were able to find a venue that is only going to cost us $1,500. We already have a DJ as well as a photographer willing to donate their services. We also have numerous offers to help with the decorating as well as chaperoning. What we mostly need at this point is the money to finish paying for the venue, purchase some decorations and possibly find an inexpensive catering business for finger type foods and drinks. The school this is for is Navarre High in Navarre, Florida, the venue we have chosen is WaterVue at Brooks Street in Fort Walton Beach and we did set up an Eventbrite for students to purchase tickets at $25 a piece. This is important to me and everyone I’ve talked to because these kids deserve some good memories to think back on and not everything else, including being separated from friends for periods of time and missing out on lots of school activities due to the Covid Crisis.
