Help needed for Roxanne

Anyone who eats at Dana knows who Roxanne is. We know her for much more than her unconditional kindness greeting us at the entrance of the dining hall. She does everything she can to make Colby feel more like home for us. We can find her on Halloween giving out pounds of candy or opening the doors on Doghead at 6am, decked out in St. Patrick's Day gear. She is family.


Unfortunately, now she is at risk of losing her own home. Roxanne is facing foreclosure. Her house will be taken away from her if she is unable to come up with a $6,000 payment by her court date on May 21st. She has been denied any modifications to the arrangement.

At home, Roxanne supports not only herself but her mother and husband, both of whom have suffered strokes and are no longer employed. She has given up her truck just to break even with monthly payments.

This is something that she would never ask for herself but keeping her home depends on our support. If just HALF the students donated $5 her full payment would be resolved.
