My son is a well-mannered and respectful young man who has always worked hard for what he wants. At just 19 years old, he was attending Grambling State University, majoring in accounting, and had his first job at a car wash when he was only 14. He has always been determined to build a good future for himself.

Unfortunately, he found himself caught up in a situation that was meant for someone else. By being in the wrong place at the wrong time, with someone he thought was a friend, his life changed in ways we never expected. While he was lucky that it didn’t cost him his physical life, it has cost him dearly in other ways. Because of this, he has had to drop out of college, and his future now feels uncertain.

What my son needs most right now is a lawyer who can truly be on his side—someone who will take the time to investigate his case and help his truth be told. A public defender simply doesn’t have the time or resources to give his case the attention it deserves. Having a dedicated lawyer could make all the difference in helping him clear his name and get his life back on track.
