My son and I are facing one of the most difficult time in our lives. In October, my father passed away, and since then, we have been doing everything we can to support my mother—medical expense have been coming up. Buying groceries has been a change. Even trying to pay my bills have been a struggle. This has left our funds extremely low, and now my son and I are being forced to move out of the house we have called home for 18 years. My mom has to do what she has to do to survive and that is sell the house my son grew up in and move to California with my brother. With just my income, it’s been impossible to find an affordable place to live, and my son is working hard to enroll in trade school, which will help him find work, but that won’t happen until late September. We have been searching for a new place for several months, but with only 2-3 weeks left before we have to move, we are running out of options and time.

The money raised will go directly toward moving costs, helping us pay the first couple months of rent, catching up on overdue bills, and making sure we have food and other essentials. I am also still trying to help my mother, who is struggling after losing much of her social security. I am doing everything I can to keep my son and I from ending up on the street or in a shelter, but we truly need help right now. Anything you can give would make a huge difference, and I promise every dollar will be used wisely to help us get back on our feet.
