Please Help my sister say Goodbye to Our Mum

Hi My name is Karen Taylor

i am fundraising for my sister Michelle Taylor

My sister, Michelle just received the devastating news that our mum is nearing the end of her battle with declining health

As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly tough time for us.

Michelle urgently needs to travel to Sydney to be by our mum’s side during her final days

unfortunately Michelle has not seen our mum in over 20yrs as she moved away due to childhood Trauma …

As a result of her trauma Michelle now has a Traumatic brain injury & eventually she will loose her Sight

meaning she has limited income

Consequently the cost of flights and accommodation is a significant burden

upon her

We want to do everything we can to help her get here as soon as possible so she can say her final goodbyes and provide comfort.

and have closure with our mum

A bit of Backstory our mother has Dementia & Parkinson’s Disease & Sadly has walked a path of Depression her whole Life

Our mother has endured a lot in her life time

With us Recently finding out she suffered Sexual Abuse as a child

The same Path both myself & Michelle

have walked

Hence why she suffered Depression & could not be the mother that we needed growing up

Over the Years our mother has punished herself for not protecting us

at the hands of our father

as a result not seeing her children

for many years

she sunk Deeper into Depression

Michelle & I had to walk away

so we could heal the trauma we suffered

One who has walked the Path of

sexual abuse knows the impact it has on one’s soul & the daily turmoil it has on one’s life

Michelle & I have healed our wounds

& forgiven our mother

so she may let her Guilt go & pass in Peace

we cannot change our past

but we do get to change our future

& By being Real & Raw

we can give another their voice

sadly, a lot never heal from Sexual abuse

or the after effects

which breaks my heart

My mum seeing Michelle

would bring closure for all of us

& heal my mums heart

Before her Passing

it would mean a lot to me

if I could make this happen for Michelle
