Help Renda Fight Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer
Donación protegida
My name is Rennae Edwards Brewer. I originally started this fund to help my sister, Renda Henry, FIGHT Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer (diagnosed May 2019). She lost the battle on 1/16/2020 when she transitioned to her heavenly home. She relocated from Texarkana,Texas to live with me in Redondo Beach in October 2019 but now its time to for her to return to the home base in Camden, Arkansas. If you can, please make a donation to help offset expenes we must incur.
Thank you.
PREVIOUSLY WRITTEN
She is a strong woman of faith and is believing for a miracle. Her Texarkana doctors said she has 4 to 6 months and “there is nothing else they can do” so they sent her home and suggested hospice. We know that God is still in the healing business and He can make a way out of no way. We have contacted several intensive cancer treatment centers and the cost varies from $35,000 to $100,000 depending on the length of stay and how well she responds to treatment. As soon as we have enough funding, she will be evaluated and admitted for treatment. We are now waiting for California Medicaid to take effect {which may help cover some expenses) and she receives a small SSI check. Renda needs to be in a treatment program ASAP.
ABOUT RENDA: She is 61 and is the mother of two children, has 10 grandchildren and 3 great grand children and another great grandchild is due in about 3 months.
In 2013, at the age of 54, Renda enrolled at South Arkansas Technical College, in Camden, Arkansas and graduated in 2015 with honors (Cum Laude) with an AA degree in general studies. In the midst of school she was doing full time ministry work and received her evangelist license on April 16, 2014 from Crossover & Beyond School Of Ministry under the guidance of Apostle Allison Dunston ("The Lady Apostle").
Then, Renda attended Southern Arkansas University (SAU), Magnolia and received her BA with honors (Cum Laude) in Social Work in May 2018. In April of 2018, Renda was ordained as an Assistant Pastor. It was during the last three semesters that her health challenges progressed. It was a very difficult time for her but she was determined to graduate on time and with honors. It is that same determination that is pushing her to want to live and be willing to explore alternative therapies not available in her small town.
Some of the therapies available are not covered by her insurance… we are asking for your prayers and financial support. Let’s beat Stage 4 Cancer – it will be a victory for us all.
Stay tuned for a PRAISE REPORT!!
Thank you and have a BLESSED DAY!!
