Help My Mother Fight Schizophrenia

Hello! I am a 20-year-old college student with a mother that has been battling Schizophrenia for the past decade. With my little to no income from my part-time job at a retail store and my father getting laid off from his previous job, we are unable to afford treatment for her. I would greatly appreciate anyone who would be willing to listen to my story. Funds raised will be utilized to pay for hospital visits, treatment, therapy, medication, and more. $3000 will be put towards hospital admissions and $1000 will go towards medication and therapy. I desperately want her to get help, I miss my strong and healthy mother. I want to do everything in my power to get her the assistance she needs.

It’s scary how everything changed. The dancing, joyful, and charismatic mother I used to know as a child overflowing with soul has been snatched away from me in front of my very eyes. My younger brother who has autism is also distraught, also keeping hope that she will retain a part of her loving side. It’s tough coming home from class and work and seeing her depressed and not willing to embrace me in her arms or even sit down to eat with my family. I regret not spending more time with her back when her condition was a lot better. This is my cry for help, every single dollar would mean the absolute world to my family and me. I just want to be a good son and also ease the stress and pain from my financially struggling father by surprising him with the accumulated donations. I want to be able to tell him that everything will be alright.
