Hi, my name is Amber, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my dad during one of the hardest chapters of his life.

For nearly two years, my dad has been living in his car after being evicted when the home he rented was sold. Since then, he has tried tirelessly to find affordable housing, but between rising costs and the difficulty of finding a place that allows his three small dogs—his constant companions—he’s had no safe place to call home.

As if that weren’t enough, last year my dad was diagnosed with cancer. He has been fighting that battle while also dealing with additional health issues, all while experiencing homelessness. Watching him endure treatments, surgeries, recovery days, and declining health without stable shelter has been incredibly heartbreaking.

We are raising funds to help purchase a small camper that can be placed on a river lot, giving my dad a safe, warm, and permanent place to live.
