My Family is Trapped in Gaza. Help me Get Them Out

My name is Rahma , I am a Palestinian citizen and mother and hold a bachelor's degree in education. (Pharmaceutical).

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help in getting my family out of Gaza.

In November, Our house bombed in Gaza City. Many of our family members' homes were also bombed and since then, my family and our children have been forced to move to another place several times.

All my family members were dispersed, some of them taking shelter in an overcrowded and unsanitary UNRWA shelter, which was bombed. Some of them are in other camps. Currently the entire family is divided in Rafah and Deir al-Balah, a decision they made to limit the number of casualties. With their backs against the wall, they face death every moment of the day and have nowhere to go. A family member was infected with hepatitis and could not obtain appropriate treatment. My uncle was killed, and a few days later my cousin was killed as well. Our young children, who have seen the bodies of many young children, often tell their parents that they do not want to die. The family has little access to food and clean water. It's summer in Gaza, and the fact that they are all in unclean, hot places, with harmful insects and ill-fitting clothing haunts my thoughts. My American friend Trinidad Nicole has been helping me to help my family escape death since the beginning of the war. I was supporting some of my family members and some people due to my work as a pharmacist in Gaza.
