This is for my childhood friend and her dog Moccha who has been with us for 14 years. Last night, Moccha was brought to the ER for bloody stool, lack of appetite, and drastic change in personality.

She was diagnosed with pancreatitis and underwent an endoscopy with biopsies to rule out cancer vs. infectious disease. We’re waiting for the results, but the doctor believes that her symptoms are consistent with some type of cancer. Luckily, the mass on her spleen was found to be benign. In the meantime, Moccha has to take PPIs, steroids, antibiotics, and appetite stimulants.

My friend has paid a total of $9k so far. The doctor said that most likely it will continue to progress over time and we would love to spend as much time as we can with Moccha. Anything helps, whether it’s sharing this fundraiser or any type of contribution you can make!
