I’m Mindy, and I’m asking for help getting my motorcycle running again after an already incredibly difficult two years. I sustained severe injuries and have been fighting for disability with zero income that entire time. In the middle of all of this, someone generously offered to fix my motorcycle for free, but a clutch hub basket was accidentally broken in the process. Now my bike can’t run, and something that means so much to my recovery and purpose has been put on hold.

For me, riding is about so much more than a motorcycle. The shifting helps me work toward learning to walk again more quickly, and riding has also been a huge support for my mental health. It gives me a sense of freedom, motivation, and hope during a season that has been one of the hardest of my life. Many of my TikTok followers have been waiting to see me ride again, and being able to get back out there means I can keep doing what I love most: encouraging others to keep going.

When I ride, I handwrite notes of encouragement and pass them out to people who may need a little hope. That has become part of my purpose.
