Hello everyone, my family and I aren’t usually the type of people to ask for help, as we typically offer it. Yesterday, November 15, 2025, our beloved 5-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog was struck by a car at high speed on Swartswood Road around 5:20 pm. The driver did not stop, and fortunately, bystanders saw our Milo and called 911 and made him cozy until we got to the scene. Fortunately, Milo is alive but is at the Eclipse Animal Hospital after being transferred from Newton Animal Hospital. The driver left our pup for dead, as he fights off multiple broken ribs, an immobile front right leg, and 2 punctured lungs filling up. It didn’t look good for him for a while, but the doctors seem optimistic in the new hospital. Milo’s bills so far, in 3 days, have totaled over $16,000. We are seeing if anyone would be so kind to donate any amounts to help us pay for some of his medical costs. We appreciate everyone’s kind words and prayers as our girls deal with seeing their beloved pup in such a bad state. Thank you for everything!
