Hi, I'm trying to help my good friend Penelope, who has a huge heart for dogs in need. Penelope is currently caring for a very special senior dog named Miel, a blind princess who is about 10 years old and has already been through so much in her life. Miel was found wandering the streets, suffering from severe eye injuries—one eye was bulging out, and the other was badly infected. Animal control picked her up in Corona, and she had to undergo surgery. Unfortunately, after her surgery, Miel was placed back in a kennel, where she became extremely stressed and struggled to recover.

Penelope, who volunteers at the shelter, saw Miel's situation and immediately stepped in to help. Without hesitation, she took Miel out of the shelter and brought her to a loving boarding home. Thanks to Penelope's kindness, Miel has been able to recover and is now doing much better, enjoying her days in a safe and caring environment. However, Miel is still searching for her forever home or a long-term foster family. In the meantime, Penelope needs our help to cover the costs of Miel's boarding so she can continue to thrive outside of the shelter.
