The evening of May 25th, Michel had been feeling a bit strange and exhausted, as if something could possibly be wrong. She was headed to bed around 10 pm to try to get some rest, so that she would hopefully feel better in the morning.  Around 1am,  Chris went to check on her and found her crying and complaining of severe neck pain and a massive headache. He tried convincing her to go to the ER, but she declined. As she tossed and turned throughout the night, she once tried getting up. Upon doing so she vomited,stumbled, and then they both began to realize that something was seriously wrong. He called 911 and once  help arrived, she was rushed to our local hospital and then airlifted to CMC Main. Once arriving, she had found out that she had suffered a stroke. Later that night, the doctors successfully clamped the brain aneurysm, as we pray that there are no long term effects. She seems to be doing a lot better but will be in ICU for several weeks, where she will be closely and constantly monitored. In addition to the medical bills that will come from all of this, Michel will obviously be out of work for some time as well. As we all know, regardless of what happens in life, the bills must still be paid. I am starting this GoFundMe for her to help with this financial burden.  During this time, I don't want her or her children (my niece and nephew) having to worry about anything other than her recovery.
