Amelia is a sweet, happy baby who is battling a terminal brain condition called lissencephaly. Lissencephaly (“smooth brain disease”) will severely shorten Mia’s life and guarantees many medical problems, including intractable seizures, feeding difficulties, and global developmental delays.

These funds will help cover the cost of Mia’s seizure medicine, medical bills, specialized therapies, insurance premiums, and adaptive equipment that will greatly increase her quality of life. Mia will face many challenges, but she deserves the opportunity to thrive.
