Help Mia Brown live her best life
Donación protegida
Hello my name is Mia Brown I'm 9 yrs old.
One year ago I felt really tired and poorly so mummy took me to the doctors and from there everything changed and become scary we was told I have diabetes type1.
There was so much to take in
I have to do regular finger prick tests that leave my fingers sore and bruised as well as lumps In my arms and legs I'm currently doing 5+ injections without extra corrections.
I have been given a chance for a better quality of life having a diabetic pump fitted but I need to raise money for the sensor which will test my blood 288 times in 24 hours, it will stop me from having hypos and hypers which gives me better controlled there would be no more finger pricking.
This is not government funded.
If I was to get the sensor I will be able to eat, dance, and play on my trampoline without my mummy and daddy having to stop me every 15 mins to do blood tests.
I would love a normal life again.
Thank you for reading Love Mia Brown xxxxx
