Our mom got diagnosed with cervival cancer that started in 1991. She had chemotherapy and radiation treatments for years following. The cancer ended up spreading to her lung and it had to be removed. It was a very long, hard battle for her but God took care of it. She was miraculously healed, however now the effect of the chemotherapy and radiation are now surfacing. She has had bladder and stomach issues for years but it is getting worse, fast. She is in severe pain 100% of her days but she has learned how to tolerate it well. Her bladder has taken the worse toll we believe. She is now not able to urinate much on her own at all. There are days at a time she has to catherize all day. Her doctor sent her to pain clinic recently to get on a regimen that would keep her from being in so much pain and they were finally getting all the kinks worked out and now Mississippi is in an opioid crisis and unless she is diagnosed with active cancer they are not legally allowed to give ANY pain medicine. She has a little left at this time but not much. She needs exploratory bladder surgery AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. They want to go in a see if the cancer is back and check to see if the bladder can be saved. If the bladder has life left then they have considered putting stents in. If the bladder is not salvageable, then they will remove it. She has applied for financial aid and medicaid and both have denied her. We are asking for any help you are able to extend. Please also share this and say a prayer we are able to reach our goal as soon as possible. She has her ups and downs but her downs are extremely rough.
