Gregory H. Taylor Memorial Scholarship Fund for Megan Taylor

Donation protected
This fund is set up by long time friends of Greg Taylor to support his daughter Megan's college and future in memory of her father Greg.

It is with heavy hearts, we share the devastating news of the loss of our beloved friend, Gregory Hughes Taylor, age 53.

Greg touched many lives in various ways: as Luther Billis in the high school play "South Pacific," through his love for playing the saxophone in the band, on the debate team, or as an HHS chamber singer. He made lasting friendships at Penn State and the University of Missouri, where he earned his degree in Computer Science. Many knew Greg as a family friend, a co-worker, or through cherished vacations at the Muskoka Club or summer camp in Minnesota. No matter how you knew Greg, you knew him as a compassionate and caring person who valued his relationships deeply.

To honor Greg’s memory and support his only child, Megan Elizabeth Hughes Taylor, we have established the Megan Taylor Scholarship Fund.

Megan, the pride and joy of her father, will graduate as a salutatorian from Franklin High School in Franklin, TN, on May 23rd, 2024. This fall, she will begin her higher education at Florida State University, majoring in behavioral neuroscience on a premed track. Her ultimate goal is to become a trauma surgeon.

We invite you to contribute to the Megan Taylor Scholarship Fund in Greg’s memory. Your support will help Megan navigate her college years and beyond, covering tuition, books, and other essential living expenses, enabling her to achieve her aspirations and honor her father's legacy.

Our hearts go out to Greg’s family and friends during this exceptionally difficult time. Greg's memory will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him, and through Megan's bright future.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
