Help Me Serve Replicate Bangkok & Partners in Thailand
Donation protected
This October, I have an incredible opportunity to travel to Thailand to volunteer with Replicate Intl.—a ministry co-founded by my brother-in-law Gary Ford and his wife Michelle. Replicate works alongside local nonprofits in Bangkok and Chon Buri to empower individuals transitioning from trafficking, exploitation, and displacement through personalized job training, life skills development, and holistic care.
In addition to leading Replicate, Gary and Michelle also run La Mesa Coffee—a Business-as-Missions coffee shop in the heart of Bangkok. La Mesa serves as a welcoming community hub for the expat and nonprofit community, hosting events, providing meeting space, and fostering relationships that support impactful ministry work.
Why October?
I was originally planning to make this trip at the end of the year, but the ministry team realized they needed their fundraising video completed earlier so they could launch their campaign before year-end. This means I’ve had to move up my timeline—and my support raising—to make this critical October deadline possible!
The Mission
I’ve been invited to use my skills to support two important projects:
1. Fundraising Video Production
One of Replicate Intl.’s partner ministries needs to create their yearly fundraising video campaign—a critical part of their annual support strategy. They’ve chosen to create a fun, lighthearted video that authentically reflects their heart and mission, without exploiting the stories of the vulnerable people they serve. I’ll be working directly with the ministry team to bring this vision to life, producing a compelling video that captures their impact while honoring dignity and hope.
2. Facility Improvements at La Mesa Coffee
The coffee shop has several construction and improvement projects that will help them better serve the community. I’ll be rolling up my sleeves to assist Gary and Michelle in enhancing their space so they can continue hosting events, supporting nonprofits, and creating a safe, welcoming environment for ministry and community building.
Why This Matters
By supporting this trip, you’re directly helping:
A partner ministry share its story and raise essential funds through a creative, dignifying campaign
Improvements to a community hub that strengthens the work of dozens of nonprofit organizations
Building stronger connections between international ministries and local communities in Thailand
Supporting sustainable, Business-as-Missions work that creates lasting impact through both Replicate Intl. and La Mesa Coffee
