I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but I’m reaching out with a vulnerable heart.

After losing over 200 pounds through 10 years of hard work, discipline, and deep personal transformation, I’m finally getting the surgery I’ve waited a decade for: skin removal. This is more than cosmetic — it’s a crucial step toward healing both physically and emotionally from the weight I carried for so long.

I have been saving for this since 17 years old, and surgery is life-changing, but with the medical system constantly changing and altering its coverage and indications; insurance is not covering part of what it was originally going to. This means I need to find a way to cover $7,000 more, and it also means time away from work. I’m asking humbly for help as I try to figure out how to cover the rest of my operation and my 6-8 week recovery period when I won’t be able to work.

I am so blessed to be surrounded by incredible people inside and out, and I have an immense amount of guilt and gratitude for the help. Know that every dollar helps take away the massive stress of getting this operation and recovering properly.
