Help me preserve the Eastern Ojibwe language

Donation protected
Hi my name is Vicki Snache. I have been video recording a language speaker in my community at Rama First Nation in order to preserve our language and the dialect that is spoken here. There are only a few people in my community who were raised as Eastern Ojibwe speakers.
Eastern Ojibwe is an Indigenous Language that is spoken in my community and according to UNESCO it is a critically endangered language, which means that it is one step away from extinction.

I would like to record more speakers and preserve the way the ojibwe language sounds in my community so that future generations will have access to the way our language sounds.

Thus far, I have been using my own funds to record. I want to continue with this project as I believe it is important for the future of our language.

Any contribution is welcome and will be used to compensate speakers for their time and if possible, get better equipment to capture better quality video. Right now I'm recording with hd and an on-board microphone.

One random donor will receive a custom ojibwe language t-shirt and one random donor will receive a set of beaded earrings.

Miigwech (thank you)
